Our Wedding

Thats the question that started the beginning of our story together! From October 2024 to February 2025, our paths occasionally crossed through various projects we were working on. I distinctly remember that in two of my meetings when I was only just getting to know Josh he would give me a hard time about technology. My signature call me, email me, or text me, however you need to get a hold of me directive shared during pre-construction meetings with the team was met with a funny retort of well how about a pager? from Josh. Two months after that in December, wed be back on the topic of technology with Josh making some smart comment about saving documents to floppy disks and if I even knew what they were (Yes, I do! Ive just never had to use one. Im young but not THAT young lol). Followed by more meetings and chats courtesy of Chick-fil-A (how he got the courage to come talk to me in my office after a meeting), I thought to myself well my birthday is coming up and with that comes the infamous Freebie Fun Run (copyright in the works lol) where a variety of birthday freebies would be acquired. Well who better to share them with than someone whos kinda sparked my interest and I think is also interested... maybe... I hope. So a simple message through Teams - Random question - cake or pie and what kind? sparked something neither of us saw coming. A day later we had our first date, three days after that we made it official as couple. Less than 6 months after that he popped the question, and if you didnt already know - I said I do :) Now were making it even more official! What more could we want and fate seemed to agree - our anniversary fell on a Saturday, and we knew it would be cooler in Texas (neither one of us wanted a Summer wedding - we all know how hot it gets in Texas). So a year to the day, were saying I DO and starting the next story in our lives TOGETHER.
