Our Wedding

It was a sunny afternoon on May 22, 2022. Josh and Anna had just finished a church service and both (not knowing one another) decided to attend a volleyball game with all their friends. They were assigned to the same team and then went with some other friends to get Ice cream afterwards. They walked around the south hill for quite some time (falling behind the rest of their friends) talking and getting to know one another. From then on it was pretty clear something was different... but life has a way of making us wait for the good things. Later in August Anna had just gotten back from a mission trip when her car had broken down on the way home and Josh had gotten into a not-so-great car accident around that time as well. But hey, there was still time to get coffee right? From then on, they become fast friends- finding every opportunity to hang out. Right when things were speeding up, Josh went to Germany for a month. You can imagine at this point that Anna was thinking... "Gosh dang it Joshua can we please just make this official?" Finally in October they did! The rest of our story has been one amazing blur. Josh Proposed on November 25th, 2023!And now we party!

Josh and Mat are two peas in a pod. Although Josh is more handsome, Mat is fortunate enough to share a slim likeness to his twin. In all seriousness, Mat is the most virtue driven man you will ever meet. Without his help Josh wouldn’t be the man he is today. He currently lives close to Josh with his wife Emily and dog Sawyer. He works as a cost estimator for a restoration company together with their older brother. He came from the ministry field and real estate world.

I became fast friends with Megan as soon as I gained enough confidence to ask to sit with her at lunch in the 4th grade. Megan has been my best friend though elementary, middle school ( which we don't speak of), high school, and college. Her parents pay me $19.99/ month to keep her around. Megan is a setter for Whitworth's volleyball team alongside earning her Bachelors.  She's a go-get-er and the most amazing human.

Taller than his younger brothers, William was a master at all forms of brotherly torture. He made up for this ever so slight flaw by loving them in immense ways looking out always. He lives in Spokane not far from them with his Wife Jenny and children Isaac and Eliana. He currently runs a restoration company after spending most of his career as a nurse manager at the VA. He is also a Major in the Air National guard with a bevy of experiences. 

William Haley

My sister Leah is probably the funniest/ most sarcastic person you will meet. Leah keeps me on my toes. I can always count on her for a late night Taco Bell run in her DEARLY beloved town of Cheney, WA. She's my lifelong concert buddy and continues to kick my butt at rock climbing weekly. Leah was just accepted into Liberty University's Law school!! Could't imagine life without her!

An addict of Black Rifle Coffee, Will continues to be a big part of his sister Anna’s life and a great new addition to Josh’s! Will is a pillar for both. He served for four years in the Air Force spending two at Rammstein in Germany. Currently he is pursuing a physical education degree. “Will the thrill” is the funniest guy around!

Although she owns a less cool version of my Jeep... She makes up for it with being a cool sister. Ellie and I spent the majority of our childhood into late high school playing basketball together, even attending a State tournament for the one year our High school years overlapped. Ellie is currently engaged to her Fiancé Brennan who is okay I guess.  I love her dearly and can't wait to enter this season of life with her.

The easiest guy to be around with a big heart, Kyle met Josh sometime around kindergarten growing up a few houses away. Kyle is Josh’s oldest friend. He lives in Missoula with his wife Maddie and works as a refrigerant engineer. He is an avid sportsmen. Always the best part of the party!

Best friends since birth! I have known Eliza for 22 years and every second has been such a blessing to my life. I grew up with Eliza in Southwick, Idaho before I moved to Spokane. But distance never stopped us from seeing one another. A lover of all things candles, cute sweaters, Jesus, and water. Eliza drinks more water in a day than I do in a week... for sure. Im not proud of that. She is married to her husband Tobin and they work at Alacca Bible Camp.

Powered by raw vegetables and “light” hour long morning runs he met Josh playing soccer in elementary school. Colin lives in Philadelphia with his Fiancè Larissa. Soon he is moving back to Seattle to be a resident physician in anesthesiology & critical care at UW/ Harborview.

It was my first time going to a gathering at this new church I was attending with my friend Liz... I walked in and sat next to this girl who looked like she might talk to me. Over a few slices of pizza we became fast friends. Kaelin can bring joy and warmth into any room she enters. She is a NICU nurse and a good one at that. She lives that night shift life- kudos to her. A fellow Swifty and always down for a country concert. She is a dear friend and I'm so glad to have her in my life!

Zak is in medical school at Pacific Northwest University seeking to do inpatient pediatrics. He is a very driven man who glues together every group he is a part of. He met Josh in elementary school and has been family since. He was recently married to his wife Rylee. Zak will always be one of Josh’s greatest friends!

"Built in best friend" is the best way to describe my relationship with my cousin Bekah. We are 9 months apart in age, so growing up together was so much fun. Bekah is a mechanical engineer and is engaged to her fiancé Matthew! This has been such a fun season to go through together and I can't wait to enter the next one together.

Cole and Josh met in Junior High. They shared a love for sports even though Cole was always more gifted athletically at everything he tried. Cole and Josh share a love for God that has bonded their friendship for years. He works for Oregon State University and lives in Corvallis with his wife Abby and their two children August and Rosie.

I first met Emily when Josh and I were " just friends" and I went over to Mat and Emily's house to help Josh with a light. I remember thinking... "Wow. How fun would it be to be her sister-in-law". AND HERE WE ARE. You see our relationship is perfect because I have a 10% lululemmon discount and she has a 15% Athlete discount and we both love to shop ( sorry Josh and Mat). In all seriousness Emily is a gem of a human and I am sooo excited to call her my sister. She is married to Josh's twin Mat and they have a doggo named Sawyer.

Nicknamed “The Octopus” for his drumming skills, Tayler is the strongest worker you will meet. He ties people together with his loving nature and dry sense of humor. Josh and Tayler met through the church band in Junior High. He currently lives in Puyallup with his wife Kirsten. He runs a general contracting construction company.

It all started at EWU with a yellow notebook full of my Biochemistry notes. A friend of mine gave them to a friend of his... her name was Elizabeth Thayer. Fast forward two years we were placed into a clinical group together In our first semester of nursing school. Boom. friends. "Hey Anna wanna come to my church". Boom. Best friends. Elizabeth Thayer ia the reason I got any sleep in nursing school. She is the friend God knew I needed in that season and for the rest of my life. An ER nurse who specializes in SAVING LIVES and treating people's dumb choices, an amazing skier, hiker, backpacker and a loyal friend. I love you Liz!

Darien and Josh met while attending Pierce College and quickly became dear friends. Through a shared interest in music, faith, and backpacking, they ended up working at a restaurant together. Darien and Josh both went on to UW and later shared brotherhood as fellow Airmen. Darien is currently a Licensed Psychotherapist in private practice and continues to serve as an officer in the Air Force National Guard alongside Josh.

I met Sam though my church and was lucky enough to be in the same home church as her. Sam is someone who you can always depend on, especially to make really good soup. We have grown to be such good friends and I could't imagine my life without her. She is a lover of Jesus, friends, coffee, skiing and Moose ( her catto, who I also love). She is a NICU nurse here in Spokane. We have gotten to plan our weddings together and it has been such a sweet season. She is engaged to her Fiancé Noah and is getting married this June! I love you sam- thanks for being the best.

Heiner and Josh met in High School at Pierce college doing running start together. Heiner’s sense of humor and strong virtues made him an easy friend for Josh. They spent a lot of time getting in trouble together and working for an Italian restaurant. Heiner lives in CDA and has had a successful career in Sales! He has travelled the world and lived in several states.

Have you ever met someone and within 5 minutes of talking you realize you have 18 things in common and are both in tears? Well that about sums up how I met the Charis Williams. I really am only her friend because she likes to Bake. Just kidding. Charis and I got to live together for about 6 months and wow was it fun. She is hands down the sweetest and most intentional person I have met with a huge heart for Jesus, others and GILMORE GIRLS- our favorite show. So happy to have her with me during this season of life.

Joe and Josh met after church one day arguing about helicopters vs. airplanes. Joe’s Army bias gave him the wrong answer, but nonetheless they became friends and roomed together for a while. Joe is incredibly funny and a great man. He served in Afghanistan with the 101st Airborne C-CO 1-187 Infantry, 3rd BCT and now works as a commercial driver in Spokane. He lives with his wife Robyn and daughter (thank God she looks more like Robyn) Georgiana.
