Joshua and Christina met at a friends party on November 6th 2022 and it was like at first sight. They debated about the real color for the Miami Dolphins jersey and that is all it took for the small fire to light in their hearts. They both thought each other were a little weird but cute at the same time. Long story short after many conversations and getting to know each other it took about 7 months of knowing each other for Joshua to ask Christina out on July 4th. They went on their first date the next day on a 10 hour date. From bad directions (completely on Christina's part) to random stops at Chick-fil-a, coffee, goodwill shopping, and just chilling at a park to going to a soccer game with him, It was all so easy and care free. They continued to date and finally after 2 whole weeks of dating they became official BF & GF!! Joshua asked Christina at the same park (spoiler alert) as he did when he proposed to Christina.

Fast forward to a little over a year of dating. They had now at this point been talking about getting married in the fall. Between talking a ton, praying, talking to other people and more talking to each other, they decided to move forward and trust the Lord in the whole process. Joshua asked Christina's dad for her hand in marriage on July 23rd after work. Her parents both gave their full blessing and support! They got engaged August 3rd and are just counting the days now till They say "I DO"!!
