I fell for him the first moment I saw him. walking down Sally Port Stairs in his white uniform and blue cover.

I knew I loved Joshua when he made my worst days the best ones. He makes me laugh, he hugs and kisses me often, and makes me experience the mediocrities of life more fully.

We’ve had good times and bad times, I'm so glad for all those times. To learn and grow, oh boy! What the future holds!

I remember our first date was going to cookout and eating it in the parking lot of the local elementary school. It may not have been the ideal first date, but it was unique circumstances that we wouldn’t change for the world.

From sneaking off post at VMI every day to hang out with Sally, to being stopped by cops for “trespassing” during covid times, we have had a wild rollercoaster of moments that has made us grow closer together.

Even though she sometimes makes me wash my dish after I’m done using it, or fold my clothes when they’re done being washed, I know everything she “makes” me do makes me a better version of myself, whether I like it or not at times! I wouldn’t trade it for the world :)
