Joey is Megan’s uncle that she has looked at as a second father figure her whole life. They have always been close and are seen together laughing & cutting up everytime you see them. Asking him to Officiate the wedding was an honor to both Megan & Joey.

John & Rita are the parents of Megan. They have always supported Megan & raised her to be a strong, independent woman. They have always encouraged her to chase her dreams and achieve anything she wants in life.

Louie & Rhonda took Joshua in as a teenager under their wings and into their home. They provided love, support, encouragement & most of all stability into his life when he needed it the most. While they may not be his biological parents, they have been the best parental figures he has ever had and deserve to be recognized as such. They have shown so much love and support to Joshua over the years through the good & the bad & have never judged him or turned him away. They are the parents he has always deserved & have claimed him as their son throughout the years.

Jewel is the Grandmother of Joshua. She was married to Josh’s Grandfather, Jim “Pops” Slawson, for 32 years. Jewel has always been there for Josh even in times when they weren’t close. Since “Pops” passed a few years ago, their relationship has grown very close and they talk daily. Jewel has never given up on Josh and has been very supportive and proud.

Joshua has such a special bond with Lillie. Even miles apart they maintain a wonderful relationship. Lillie has surprised Joshua with surprise visits over the years that never fail to make everyone cry the happiest of tears. She loves & supports him through it all.

Emily is Megan’s cousin who has always been like a little sister to her. Growing up they were always together and always laughing, being silly & having fun. She became “Aunt Mimmy” to Megan’s boys and has had a significant role in their lives growing up since they were born. They are always looking for new projects & hobbies to start together!

Bethanee is Megan’s cousin-in-law, but they tell EVERYONE they’re sisters because they may as well be. The second they met they were instantly best friends. They are the same person in every single way. When they’re together there is constant laughing and it is always a good time. Bethanee has been there for Megan through some of the worst times in her life and also some of the best. She is always cheering her on, wanting the best for her and is so supportive in anything Megan does!

Monica is Megan’s little cousin that she’s cherished since the day she was born. Megan has always taken Monica under her wing & supported her dreams wherever they may take her. Whenever Monica needs someone to lean on Megan is always one of the first people she calls. Monica has been there for Megan through some tough times and some of the best times and has always been there for Megan’s children as well. They have always had such a special bond together. Well they may be cousins, they have been so close Monica grew up referring to her as “Aunt Megan”.

Megan & Briana have been best friends for years. They can go months without speaking when life gets busy & pick right back up like they never stopped. Even their kids are such good friends. They have been there for each other through the good times and the bad & have promised each other to never walk alone through all the hard things life throws at them. From babies, weddings, trauma & deaths they have been there through it all. Megan knows anytime something happens in her life she can always lean on Briana for support, love, advice & comfort.

Abby came into Megan’s life as a beautiful addition to her family. She is the daughter of Bethany, MOH, and Megan took to her immediately. Abby lights up the room with her smile & laughter & loves to hang with the girls. They have had some of the best times together over the years & “Aunt Meg” could not spend this big day without her by her side.

Joshua & Zach have been best friends since middle school. Zach has been there for Josh in some of his darkest days & has always been supportive of him.

Joshua & Dylan have been best friends for years. Dylan has always been there for Joshua no matter what the circumstances are. He opened his home to him in times of need & always supports him & cheers him on.

Louie has been the closest thing Joshua has had to a Father his whole life. Louie took Joshua into his home and provided for him when he had no one else to turn to when he was a teenager. Even after all of these years, Louie still plays such a large part of Joshua’s life. He’s there for him no matter what for anything he needs and is always cheering him on with love and support. Joshua stated, “if anyone deserves to stand beside me on this day, it’s Louie.” He knows that no matter what, he always has family because of Louie & his wonderful wife Rhonda.

Joshua met Brad during his recovery and they immediately became friends. Brad was such a huge supporter of Joshua & gave him so much encouragement, love & advice during some of his darkest days to help him make it through. They are always laughing, cutting up, & making each other’s days a little brighter when needed.

Halston & Josh have been friends for years.

Landen & Jaxton are the sons of Megan & Josh. Josh came into their lives at 4 & 2 years old & they instantly formed an unbreakable bond. If you ask them who their dad is, they smile so big & say “JOSH!”. They have been waiting patiently for the day Josh and Megan will become married & are over the moon to have this family become one officially.

Khloe & Mikaela are the beautiful flower girls. They are cousins of Megan and are so excited to be the princesses they were born to be for a day.
