Our Wedding

We met in a place that holds a piece of both our hearts, serving at a church camp called FUEGO, that we each deeply cherish. What started as shared laughs, late-night talks, and a heart for ministry quickly grew into something more. In the middle of worship services, campfires, and the chaos that only youth camp can bring, we found something steady and sweet: each other. From those first moments of connection, our relationship has been built on faith, friendship, and so much joy. We’ve cheered each other on, prayed through big decisions, and created a love rooted in something greater than ourselves. Now, we can’t wait to say “I do” and begin our forever surrounded by the people who have loved and supported us along the way. Thank you for being part of our journey. We’re so excited to celebrate with you as we become The McHalffeys.

Katy and Syd also met serving at camp Fuego and were instant friends! So much so that they had a sleepover just the first weekend they had met!! Sydney has been such a joy to be friends with and now they’ll be lifelong sisters!

Katy and Marissa also met serving at camp Fuego! From being Fuego roomies for two whole summers to long distance friendship and monthly coffee catch up dates, this friendship was a gift from God in Katy’s life that she cherishes deeply!

Audrey Ann is Katy’s little step sister, and since they have met she has played such a huge role in Katy’s life, she cherishes their time together and their sweet relationship tremendously!

Stroll the Riverfront One of our favorite things to do in Natchez is walk along the beautiful Mississippi River! It’s peaceful, scenic, and holds a very special place in our hearts. In fact, it’s where Joshua proposed! Every time we visit, we make it a point to take a walk there together, and we’d love for you to experience it too. Whether you're catching the sunset or just enjoying the view, the riverfront is truly one of Natchez’s gems.

Sunday Service If you’re still in town the morning after the wedding, we’d love to invite you to visit First Baptist Church Vidalia! Where Joshua serves as a student pastor. It would mean so much to us to share a part of our everyday life with you! The church offers two Sunday services: one at 9:00 AM and another at 10:30 AM so feel free to come by whichever time works best for you. The church family would be so happy to see you there!
