Joshua and Amanda met in the spring of 2019. Their first date was at a Korean bistro in downtown providence and their second date was at IKEA. The bride-to-be believed that if they could make it past an afternoon in IKEA they could make it through anything- turns out she was right! To the outside world they appear to be two very different people, Josh is an avid sports fan and Amanda lacks all hand-eye coordination. Amanda grew up a vegetarian and Josh's favorite food is a near-rare steak. While they contrast in many ways, the couple bonded over how many things they do have in common. Josh and Amanda are both Geminis, both middle children with an older brother and a younger sister, and they both grew up in several places throughout the North East. Their shared devotion to family and friends shine through as a core value of their relationship, and the reason why they compliment each other so beautifully. As middle children often do, they both believe it is their duty to ensure everyone around them is safe and happy-so it is very fitting that they are able to feel that in return from each other. As they enter the next chapter in their journey they would like to express the love and gratitude they have for everyone who has been a part of their story so far!
