Our Wedding

February of 2021 Jillian first came to South Haven Baptist Church in Hephzibah, Ga where Joshua had been attending for several years. It didn’t take long for God to start writing their story. On a rainy Wednesday night — March 28th 2021— Jillian caught a ride home from church, and Joshua helped her climb into his brother’s truck. That small moment led to exchanged numbers and calls that lasted hours. This is the day they consider their dating anniversary and they’ve been choosing each other ever since. Then began many with double dates, church events together, lake days, and mountain trips — their favorite place to be together. On May 29, 2021, at the top of a wooden lookout tower overlooking Clarks Hill lake or Storm Thurmond Lake depending on what side of the bridge you live on, they said “I love you” for the first time. Their relationship has always been centered on the Lord. On February 4, 2023, Joshua gave Jillian a promise ring as a symbol of his devotion to her and to Christ. Through every season, their hearts continued to find their way back to one another. On February 14, 2026, at Caesar’s Head State Park in South Carolina — a place full of special memories — Joshua asked Jillian to spend forever with him. She said yes! They cannot wait to begin this next chapter together on July 17, 2027.
