Serena and Joshua’s love story begins many years ago. They grew up together in church, where their bond was formed in the innocence of childhood. From singing together in the children’s choir to laughing together at many church functions, they have always been close friends. As they grew older, their friendship has always been unwavering though unspoken feelings lingered in between them.

Over time, they realized their relationship had evolved beyond a friendship, and on April 30th, 2023, Joshua built up the courage to ask Serena out to dinner. She happily accepted, and on September 9th, 2023, they officially began courting.

As their love progressed, they began to realize that God had orchestrated their relationship all along and knew this was what they both wanted forever. On March 29th 2025 Joshua asked Serena the BIG QUESTION of “Will you Marry Me?” The answer was YES!

As Joshua and Serena embark on this incredible adventure, they are so thankful for the love and support of their family and friends who have walked alongside them. This is just the beginning of a lifetime of happiness.
