Milisa &amp; Josh met in the Summer of 2020. They both ran into one another on Bumble while swiping. Josh’s profile picture of Tokyo in the background caught her attention, and she made the first move of messaging him. Little did they know that COVID was not the only thing in the air at the time, but love as well. They played the “Will They? Will They Not?” game for a year. With Milisa calling Josh her “Man thats not her Man”, and with Josh saying he loved her before they were even officially an item. They did many things out of order, but one thing that their friends could attest to was that they were absolutely smitten with one another, and everyone knew it-- including themselves. They had the oddest moments of finishing each other’s sentences, to completing one another’s thoughts, to having some of the most shocking similarities. They referred to it as dating themself. Eventually, in March of 2022, Milisa took the plunge and asked Josh to be her boyfriend. He was given two options to select from in the form of two sticky notes with writing on a giant FUNKO Pop of his favorite anime character. One note stating, “Yes”, and the other note he could select from stating, “Yes”-- just in a different color. Deciding to make the right choice, Josh humbly accepted. After many dates, many laughs, and many days spent living in what was a dream, it culminated in Josh taking Milisa on a trip to her childhood dream vacation of Japan in the summer of 2023. Here, they got to experience the land that they both have such a passion for, and at the end of their trip lay a surprise for Milisa: the proposal of a lifetime. Shaken and struck with anxiety, Josh got down on one knee to ask Milisa to be his wife. The words couldnt escape his mouth-- let alone his mind, so Milisa cut him off without allowing him to even finish asking her to be his wife with an absolute yes. Since then, they have had many trips back and forth from home to Los Angeles to eat many foods and experience many orchestras. They have watched hundreds upon hundreds of hours of One Piece. They have played so many video games together. And that brings us here, to this moment. The two year engagement is finally coming to a close, and they are so excited to experience this with you all. Heres to wishing Milisa and Josh a lifetime of happiness and more as we celebrate their love and promise of faith to one another for eternity.
