Who would’ve thought that a few quick texts to a stranger online would’ve turned into a lifetime filled with joy, peace, and godly love? God did, and we now know that He was writing our story since long before either of us downloaded that dating app. For many, meeting online may not sound like the most romantic beginning, but we can assure you that even our earliest texts were saturated with love (love: seeking the best for another, regardless of the cost to yourself).&nbsp; Joshua was the first person that Lillian matched with, and they had committed to an exclusive dating relationship within a week of connecting and met for the first time in person a week after that. We made our new relationship official on April 19, 2025. Excluding the summer, we have made the effort to see each other at least twice a month, driving the three and a half hours between Nashville and Kennesaw on a biweekly basis. While the distance can be tough, we always knew we were doing it for our future spouse; that level of assurance gave us peace that our efforts were not in vain! We both had the opportunity to support each other on separate international mission trips in December 2024, a time serving the Lord through our service of others. We both know that going so far from home and each other would not have been possible without the other’s prayers and encouragement. Upon return in January, the new school semester started with its own challenges, but we were closer than ever and better prepared to face those together. Then, on our first Valentine’s day together, we were engaged! A 30-minute hike (that turned into a two-hour hike because someone got lost) ended in our favorite memory together… at least, until the wedding day! Surrounded and overwhelmingly supported by friends and family, we are ecstatic to step into this holy unity in marriage. We are so grateful for everyone who has supported us thus far and we ask for your continued prayers over us as we embark on this next chapter of life together.
