The ole stomping grounds of Brillion High School is where they first met. Well, maybe not met but at least knew of each other. Josh graduated in 2016 and went on to Fox Valley Tech to get 2 degrees in 2 years! Meanwhile, Hannah graduated a year later in 2017 and went off to Concordia University Wisconsin.
Fast forward to 2020, COVID (ugh...aren't you sick of hearing that word). Well, it happened to be a HUGE blessing in disguise sent from the one and only, God! Hannah was sent home from college early that semester. Josh had bought his first home on Wayside Road, the best road ever (we may be biased)!
During this time, Mark (Hannah's dad) had messaged on a Facebook marketplace item (a livestock gate) that Josh was selling and asked Hannah to run over there quickly to pick it up. Hannah pulled in, backed up the old farm truck, and grabbed the gate. Within the next few weeks, Josh and Hannah started chatting and hanging out with a mutual friend group. Shout out to Alex, Bryce, Kassee, & Bekah! All summer long, that group was inseparable and so were Josh and Hannah. Finally August 1, 2020, they became official and Josh asked if Hannah would be his date to his brother's wedding (Andrew & Renee) only a couple of days later.
Fast forward to August 2023, FAIR WEEK! Each year the Beyer girls and Josh camp at the fair for the whole week. This year Josh and Hannah got up early on Thursday morning to go for a walk around the fairgrounds. Down by the Fox River boat launch, Josh got down on one knee and popped the question. And the rest is history!
We CANNOT wait to proclaim our love for each other in front of our friends, family, and most importantly, God!
