Joshua had just picked up Naomi from her long day of classes, and she had gotten all ready for a date. Little did she know that Josh had been planning with her sister, Courtney, for weeks on the perfect dream proposal.
Close your eyes, Josh said to Naomi in the car.
That's when she knew, it was going to happen!
Long story short, the couple found themselves engaged, but how did it all begin? What actions and turns in the road did both of them take to end up saying yes to marrying eachother?
Naomi and Josh had their first official date on April 19th, 2025. They had both matched on a dating app some time before. Naomi loved to shop and met with Joshua at the Outlets at Castle Rock. Afterwards, Naomi didn't think this would go much further. Joshua, on the other hand, was intrigued. Over a few weeks, Joshua kept asking Naomi to hang out with him.
After a few hangouts, Joshua asked,
Are we a thing?
Naomi answered quickly, No.
However, Naomi soon realized there was something different about this guy. He was nurturing, attentive, and funny. Naomi couldn't help but want to know Joshua more and more.
Soon enough, they were official. Josh nervously met her parents, took Naomi on countless dates, and fell in love with Naomi harder than ever imagined. The feelings were mutual; Naomi was absolutely smitten with this amazing Godly man. What did she do to deserve such a Holy Spirit-filled man? Everything felt right.
Naomi was soon going to transfer up to UNCO Greeley, and Joshua wanted to come with her. He found himself signing an apartment lease in Greeley, Colorado, while Naomi settled into the dorms.
These two also adopted an orange cross-eyed cat whom they named Curl, and he resided with Joshua in his apartment until Naomi brought him back to live at her townhome once out of the dorms. She also adopted a tuxedo cat named Tino and the three of them wait for Joshua to come live at the townhome once married.
Hard conversations, fun-filled dates, tears, love, and lots of Jesus brought these two closer and closer, and Joshua realized he could not live without Naomi in his life. She became the apple of his eye, his little pumpkin pie. He bought her a ring she had been so eagerly showing him that she had dreamed of for years of having. He truly fulfilled her dreams of meeting her Prince Charming.
Now, the couple is eagerly planning and awaiting the day they get to make a Holy covenant before God and witnesses and vow to love, cherish, and choose one another until they get to become best friends in Heaven!
The couple thanks YOU for being a part of their lives and this beautiful journey of love and memories. YAY!
