Josue and Liv met on May 20, 2018 (FUN FACT: We did not realize that we met on May 20th when we picked our wedding date.) Josue was new to the church and had recently been added to the New Life Young Adult (NLYA) group chat. Josue texted in the group and asked where the meeting spot was and Liv (being the person she is) took it upon herself to text Josue separately to tell him their location. Josue, with determination and perseverance, found the spot, said hey to everyone (including Liv) and that is pretty much the end of that story. Not kidding, Liv probably didn't say more than two words to Josue until the beginning of 2020. Now let's fast forward a bit, first comes the NLYA Spring Break trip...a collarbone gets broken...COVID happens... quarantine is a thing... Liv and Josue happen to be a part of the same friend group during this time... and then a couple of bike rides, YouTube videos, and binge watched movies later, these two are head over heels! They went on their first date on May 5th 2020 and Josue popped the question on November 8th 2020. I guess what the young folks say is true, "If ya know ya know" #amiright!

There is only one rule for this wedding! We all know Liv likes to throw a good party and with that being said... Rule numero uno: BRING DANCING SHOES! She will expect everyone to get on the dance floor at least once! We can't wait to celebrate with you!
