Our Wedding

Jourdan and Michael met in their junior year of high school, thanks to a bit of matchmaking. Jourdan was looking for a prom date, and her friend suggested she bring Michael. He went to a different school, so Jourdan drove over to get the paperwork signed. But Michael had already gone home—almost. After a quick phone call and a little convincing, he came back, and we still joke that not turning around would've been his worst decision ever.That prom night kicked off something neither of us expected. From different schools to building a life together, we’ve shared a lot of laughs, growth, love and adventure along the way.

Young Love

Though Michael headed off to Fairfield University and Jourdan stayed closer to home at UCONN, their hearts were never really far apart. They navigated the ups and downs of long-distance through late-night calls, weekend visits, and a whole lot of patience. Jourdan would drive to Fairfield to visit, and over time, his friends became her friends too. College tested them, but it also made them and by the time graduation rolled around, there was no doubt they’d come out on top.

College Years

After college, we started carving out time for new experiences together. Our first camping trip was to Vermont with my brother Devon and sister-in-law Courtney and it was the perfect beginning. Since then, we’ve gone all in. We’ve camped across New England, paddled out to quiet islands, and tackled multi-day hikes that tested our limits. Last year, we set a goal: to hike all 48 of New Hampshire’s 4,000-foot mountains before we turn 30. We've already done ten this year, and each one has brought a new view, a new challenge, and a reminder of why we love doing this together. Our love for nature grew so much that Michael proposed on a camping trip in Acadia National Park — surrounded by the mountains, pine trees, and ocean, it felt like the perfect place to start the next chapter.

Courtney was Jourdan's first friend and roommate at UCONN, and from day one, they just got each other. Whether they were up late studying or blasting one song to reset before diving back in, they struck the perfect balance between focus and fun. When they go out, it’s all energy—dancing, singing, and laughing until they can’t anymore.

Courtney Creed

Mike’s twin brother and lifelong competitor. From hockey games to backyard brawls, Ryan was always the one pushing Mike to go harder, think sharper, and never back down. Their bond’s built on grit, loyalty, and a whole lot of shared bruises.

Taylor and Jourdan met playing field hockey in high school, before Michael and J ever met—so Tay’s had a front-row seat to their relationship from day one. She’s one of the most caring, down-to-earth, and unapologetically goofy people they know. Whether catching up, reminiscing about high school chaos, or just laughing at something completely stupid, Tay always brings good energy. Jourdan couldn’t imagine this day without her.

Taylor Farrin

Mike met Max freshman year at Fairfield, living across the hall. Late nights in Max and Drew’s dorm were a mix of EDM, and half-baked theories. Max always had some wild idea brewing—like building a full bar in their townhouse junior year, or deciding to fix up a beat-up VW van during senior year lockdown. That project turned into a full engine swap, and somehow, they pulled it off. Max brings the adventure and the follow-through.

Max Vazquez

Emma is Michael’s sister, and one of the easiest people to be around. Her and Jourdan have bonded over baking sessions, the occasional yoga class, and of course, the mutual joy of pestering Michael. She’s thoughtful, laid-back, and always down to hang out. Jourdan is very excited to soon call her a sister.

Mike’s cousin, two years younger but somehow always in sync. Summers at their grandmother’s beach house in Winthrop were legendary; chasing crabs, filming GoPro documentaries and writing in their diving log about sea creatures like they were on National Geographic. Timmy’s the kind of guy who turns a simple day into a full-blown adventure, and he’s been part of Mike’s story from the very beginning.

We have a room block at the Common Man Inn with one and two night options. You must call the Common Man Inn directly at 603-536-2200 and reference the Hourican-Driscoll Wedding and date when calling to. Be sure to book rooms before April 14th, 2026 as they are not guaranteed to be available afterwards. Transportation will be provided from the Inn to and from The Barn on the Pemi.

A beautiful spot where the river carved smooth rock formations into a narrow gorge — perfect for walking, snapping photos, or even taking a dip! It’s an easy walk from the parking area and makes for a peaceful little escape into nature.

Sculptured Rocks Natural Area

A quirky roadside spot with a treehouse-like atmosphere, serving up fresh seafood, burgers, and ice cream. You can grab lunch on the rooftop deck nestled among the trees, or relax at a picnic table under the canopy. It’s casual, scenic, and full of charm — locals swear by the lobster rolls and hand-cut fries.

The Little Red Schoolhouse, LLC

Formed during the last Ice Age, the Polar Caves are a network of granite boulder caves tucked into the woods of Rumney. You can climb, crawl, and squeeze through nine unique caves — each with its own name and character — or stick to the boardwalks and enjoy the scenery. It’s a fun, hands-on way to explore nature, and the cool cave air is a welcome break on warm days. *Note: This is a paid attraction
