Our Wedding

If you ask Jovan, the invisible string theory applies to their relationship.&nbsp;If you ask Drake, there was always something that pulled them back together. "We were either never going to speak again or be with each other for the rest of our lives."&nbsp; The couple met in Erie, PA, at Penn State Behrend in a class they were both taking. There was an interest on both sides, but nothing came of this until their sophomore year of college. They decided at the time they would be "really good friends." People around them saw this was more than a friendship, but both denied it and said they wanted nothing serious with each other. They decided to stop the friendship after someone caught feelings and asked if they were more than friends. (We will never say who.)&nbsp; In the years of not speaking to each other, they would speak about each other to a mutual friend. He would laugh and ask Why are you concerned about what the other is doing? He thought we didn't care about each other. This was far from the truth; they both still cared VERY much, but never knew how to start the conversation.&nbsp; Then, one day, Drake reached out saying he wanted to reconnect, but there was a small problem: Jovan recently moved 5 hours away to New York. Even with the distance, they decided to see where things go. Hours of phone calls while Drake was on the road for work. Hours of Jovan watching Drake and his brother Buddy playing video games on Discord and getting to know his family. He even convinced her to play video games with them. Hours in the car just to see each other for a day and a half.&nbsp;&nbsp; A few months later, Drake asked Jovan to be his girlfriend. He immediately took it back to ask her the next day because tomorrow would be an even day and a full moon. He explained it would be better luck for the relationship. Jovan moved back home, and shortly after, they moved in together.&nbsp; The couple would describe their relationship as fun and family-focused. They love hosting family get-togethers like monthly Dungeons and Dragons, weekly dinners with parents, weekly visits with parents, and holidays (especially Thanksgiving). Because of their love of family, he knew the perfect day to propose would be Thanksgiving in front of their immediate family.&nbsp; We are so excited for the next chapter of our lives and officially start our forever. We are even more excited to share this speical day with all of you.&nbsp;

Howdy, I’m the Maid of Honor Morgan! I’m a new mom to my beautiful baby girl Audrey, a dog mom to my goofy coonhound Tracker, and wife to my love Ryan. I love all things outdoors- hunting, fishing, kayaking and am always ready for the next adventure. I’m always looking for the next project to start, party to plan, or event to organize and drag my husband along to the ride. I’ve also managed to drag Jovan and Drake into my shenanigans and somehow convinced them to volunteer with me in my community Haunted Walk. They probably thought I was crazy when I drug them out to the middle of the woods, covered them in fake blood and said “start acting.” But hey- they came back the next year so it looks like we’ve created a tradition now! I’m so excited to see Jovan and Drake get married and can’t wait to see the beautiful life they build together!

im buddy drakes older brother jovans future brother in law. im pretty much just a mechanic who is always works on cars plays video games and watches anime. taddaaaa thats me. a favorite memory with jovan isnt one memory in perticular but multiple memories. her and drake often host dnd for us siblings together and her cooking and hostestness is always a appreciated event.  me and drake both do not like gravy. gravy is not good. as for favorite memory with drake there isnt one. id choose all but that would be a long list but one memory i think of often is one from when we were younger drake was probably like 6 i was 11 ish give  or take on the years. butttt we were at our grandmothers house playing in the yard. me and him started arguing whos knife was sharper. i had a cheap 5 dollar pocket knife and he had a plastic gi joe knife. we started cutting grass with our knives till i cut myself with my knife. i think of this every time i see the scar on my knuckle. anyway im big brother buddy 

Buddy!

Hi I'm Kat! I love reading and taking nature walks. My husband and my kitties are my favorite things on the planet. I married into this zoo two years ago, and it's been one of my greater life decisions. I met Jovan when her and Drake started getting more serious (which is a bummer because I could have married her first if only I had met her sooner!). My favorite memory is when we had our first double date to the comedy show. Drake and Buddy left us for each other, and it was just so nice getting to know Jovan better. There was never any awkwardness between us, and for that I'm grateful. I'm honored to gain another sister, especially one who enjoys the bromance as much as I do.


Kat! 

Growing up, I've watched Drake grow from my mischievous little brother into a man I deeply respect. We've shared countless adventures and misadventures, from the time he hooked himself fishing to navigating life's more serious challenges. Through it all, his unwavering loyalty and kind heart have always shone through. Being a part of his wedding party isn't just an honor; it's a joy. I couldn't be prouder to stand by his side as he marries the love of his life and begins this incredible new chapter.

Meet Delany – Bridesmaid, Drake's shortest sister, Jovan's Blondest Friend (?idk if this is true, yes, it is true)
Delany brings creativity, heart, and a little bit of magic to everything she does. When she's not lazing about, she's deep into her latest DIY project, curled up with a book, or playing fantasy games.
my favorite memory of drake would be him making up a character to cosplay at our first ever con! We wrapped him in masking tape and called him TAPE MAN! We had a blast at that con together!

Delany

A lifelong fan of board games, video games, and programming, Connor is always ready for game night. Whether he’s rolling for initiative or joining a squad for an online game, he brings the same energy: strategy, focus, and a good sense of humor when it all goes wrong.
Connor met Drake when Delany dragged him into the family. 
Thanks to Drake and Jovan, Connor quickly become a solid member of the family, and is now less quiet and awkward. Over the years, he’s gotten to know Jovan through family holidays, shared game nights, and plenty of laughs.

He’s proud to stand beside the couple, and even prouder to officially welcome another player into the family
