UNPLUGGED CEREMONY We kindly ask that all guests join us in having an unplugged wedding ceremony. Please silence and put away all phones, cameras, and other devices during the ceremony. We have hired a professional photographer to capture these special moments, and we'd love for you to be fully present with us as we say I do. Once the ceremony concludes, feel free to take photos, record videos, and share memories during the reception! Thank you for respecting our wishes and helping us create a beautiful, distraction-free ceremony.

Our Wedding

Sometimes the best love stories begin when you least expect them. On a random Thursday, our paths crossed on social media. Deonetae sent a message, and while most people may have given up after a while, he remained consistent, kind, and patient. For nine months, he continued reaching out. Then one day, Joy finally replied—and it turned out to be one of the best decisions she ever made. From the very first conversation, everything felt natural. We clicked instantly, and before long, we found ourselves talking every day, learning each other's hearts, dreams, and faith. What started as a simple message quickly became something neither of us could ignore. In November 2025, Joy traveled to visit Deonetae for Thanksgiving. That visit changed everything. From the moment we were together, neither of us wanted to leave the other's side. The connection we had built from a distance became even stronger in person, and saying goodbye was harder than either of us imagined. Soon after, God began confirming what was already growing in our hearts. In December 2025, Joy received clear confirmation from the Lord to make the move, and she stepped out in faith. Since then, we have been side by side, building a life together, growing in love, and watching God's hand guide every step of our journey. Our story is a beautiful reminder that God's timing is perfect. What began with a message on a random Thursday became a love story neither of us could have written on our own.
