To put it simply - it was fate that brought us together. I was in FL visiting my mom 2 years ago when I was swiping on the daunting dating app! I decided to expand my mileage to see what was out there and that's when I saw Joy. It was an instant "take my breath away" kind of moment. I took a few moments to look at her pictures and saw that she lived in GA. and I thought to myself

"how in the world will this work?" After a few minutes of really looking at her profile, I went for it and we started talking that night. We talked on the phone for 5 weeks before we decided it was time to meet in person. We knew the long distance would not be easy, but we were both committed to making it work. The day we finally met was one of the best days ever! I knew Joy was it for me. The last 2 years for us have been a whirlwind: long distance dating, tons of flights back and forth to see each other (we've mastered the routes & airports now), making plans over the phone, getting engaged and planning a wedding while mostly apart (which is extremely hard not having your person near you). We've both put in so much work these last 2 years to making this work and dedicating our lives to this relationship and marriage. I think we can honestly both say this was God's plan for us. He brought us together. We are both so deserving of this love and have waited our whole lives for something this beautiful. We cannot wait to spend the rest of our lives together and we thank everyone for all of their love and support these last 2 years. We love you all and can't wait to celebrate our epic wedding!
