Danny came to Hawaii on a vacation to visit the place his mother grew up. He loved Hawaii so much he decided to move here from Connecticut. He stayed with a family friend - Jean, who is a long time Figure Skating coach at the Ice Palace Skating Rink and convinced Danny to work there until he figures out his next steps.

It was Ice Palace Halloween party. Danny had just started working there and decided to attend the party to meet new people. Joyce had to work a mandatory shift as part of her coaching duties. Joyce was dressed as Thor and Danny was dressed as a nerd. They met getting ready in the locker room.

Surf and Turf day! Went hiking as friends to the Pali Puka and then surfed at our usual spot in Diamondhead, Cliffs.

Started to hang out more at Ice Palace because of the Christmas show and outside of the rink. Made it official right after the show.

Got pulled into doing the Spring Show by Susan Donahue

Spent Christmas in Connecticut with family, went skiing, and watched the ball drop in NYC!

Did the Lanikai Pillboxes hike when Chelsea visited

Relationship took a hit around this time but we came out on the other side stronger than ever!

Danny got a motorcycle!

Went to Makapu'u Tidepools with the Breakout Waikiki family

Danny broke his clavicle...

Went to Hilo with Joyce's college friends and drove up to Mauna Kea. Then stayed another week in Kona and swam with manta rays!

Joyce finally graduated!

Post graduation Iceland Trip with a layover in Germany where we met up with Lukas!

Went to the Firefly Music Festival in Delaware with Thomas as part of the post graduation trip. Got to see Panic at the Disco live!!

Did painting with a twist for Grace's birthday!

Danny graduated with a Travel Industry and Management degree! But COVID-19 happened and hit this industry hard. A lot of plans fell through but we made it work.

Danny planned a surprise dinner at Roy's for Joyce's 27th birthday!

Adopted a monster. I mean puppy.

Had tons of fun at Steven and Bailey's wedding in KC!

Made a trip out of Fran and Whitney's wedding in Florida. Got to spend quality time with the family and went to Disney World and Universal Studios~

He finally proposed!
