Our First Anniversary

Picture of Our First Anniversary

November 19, 2020

Our 1st Anniversary was super epic & memorable! We were supposed to go to Antipolo to celebrate it BUT because of the heavy traffic in Alabang, we decided to go to Tagaytay instead. It was still lovely and fun because we had a sumptuous lunch at Marcia Adams & went to San Antonio de Batulao Parish along Tagaytay-Nasugbu Highway to give thanks for our 1-year milestone.

The highlight of the day was when JP surprised me with a setup at the back of his car and gave me a bouquet of my favorite flower- Peonies.

I can still remember every detail of our first anniversary. We both agree that we can't end the day without the toyo! HAHA!~

Two Years of Love & Togetherness

TWO YEARS!! Our second anniversary was adventurous and new. We started our celebration very early by attending the morning Mass at Ina ng Awa Parish where we asked Fr. Rodyn to give us a special blessing. After mass, JP gave me a big bouquet of carnation flowers which I truly love. It was again arranged by my best friend, Alyssa, just like the one of Peonies in our First anniversary. I gave JP a new wrist watch that he can use during formal events....and boy! HE GUSHED OVER IT!!

We drove to Antipolo to go over our first anniversary plan. We went to Pinto Art Museum & ate at Burrow Cafe. We capped the day off dancing through the traffic on our way to the Mangussads'.

Here, we thank Ate Ana & Kuya Jay for teaching us about HOPE, FAITH, & LOVE and for taking photos for our 2nd anniversary! JP & I love your family!

Engagement Trip

June 16 - 19, 2022

Our first trip as an engaged couple! We went to Bohol with our friends to celebrate our milestones as young professionals, and for JP & I, our engagement. It was a very memorable trip as we really enjoyed the company of each other. This was also a ground for me and JP to get to know more of each other. We went to A LOT of places and ate so many kinds of food! It was indeed one of the best adventures I had ever since. JP cannot get over too with all our activities and fun memories in Bohol.

Cheers to 3 Years!

Our 3rd Anniversary was spent under the rains of November. It was memorable because we spent it with our friends with whom we have shared most of our 2022. We visited Siglo, where JP proposed to me in June, and ate the best Filipino fusion dishes. After that, we drove Tagaytay's misty roads to caffeinate ourselves at Starbucks, Twin Lakes. It was JP's suggestion to celebrate our 3rd year with the closest circle we have...and I wouldn't have had it any other way.

One Year as an Engaged Couple

Picture of One Year as an Engaged Couple

We opted to have a long engagement because it's so expensive to have a wedding here in the Philippines, given that the couple has a BIG CIRCLE of loved ones, and the Bride (THE BRIDE!!) is madly creative and adores beautiful things. Most of you know that THE BRIDE likes well-thought-out things, and as much as possible, we want to be on top of the wedding planning, so it is just fitting for us to have a 2-year engagement so we can prepare and afford the wedding we always talked about to each other.

We celebrated our 1-year Engagement by attending a mass first at our wedding church and drove straight to Tanay, Rizal, where we were supposed to picnic but ended up eating inside the car instead because of the rain. Nevertheless, it was a beautiful afternoon surrounded by greeneries and mountains.

Beautiful Four Years

Picture of Beautiful Four Years

I got asked again...and the answer is still the same.

Our Fourth Anniversary was a simple celebration at home because I was very sick then. But it was also one of the most special anniversaries we will cherish because JP proposed to me again. He surprised me with my favorite bouquet and celebrated with simple dishes because my palette was not at its best. It might have been our chillest anniversary this four years, but it was memorable. I'm a lucky bride to have been asked twice. :)
