Our Wedding

JP &amp; Laura officially met thanks to the dating app, Bumble. However, they believe they likely crossed paths many times before on the campus of Nazareth College. JP &amp; Laura's first date was on the turf field at Nazareth, where they played 1 v 1 soccer. The competitive portion of the date was followed by a cordial trip to Pittsford Diary for ice cream. They've been together ever since, working their way through grad school, clinicals/internship, new jobs, and facing the challenges presented by the global pandemic. They moved in together in March of 2020 and in 2021, they decided to take a big leap and moved to Delaware for a year. The adventure continued as they moved to Raleigh, North Carolina in 2022. Along the way, there have been lots of beach trips, camping trips, breweries, kickball games, and many, many great times with friends and family. And, in January 2023, they adopted the very sweet, adorable puppy, Ahsoka. So, after this brief 7+ years of dating, JP surprised Laura in Atlantic Beach by dropping down on one knee and proposing. Laura said YES! They are extremely excited for where this new chapter of life will take them.

We have rooms reserved from June 20th to June 23rd. However, you are able to book just the 21st. You will just need to edit the stay when you go to book a room.

*No parking available at the venue* Due to limited parking space at the venue, we will be requiring people to either use our shuttle or Uber to and from the venue. The shuttle will be going back and forth between our hotel and the venue. The shuttle will make two trips before the wedding (4:00pm &amp; 4:30pm) and two trips after the wedding (10:00pm &amp; 10:45pm)
