Pike Place Fish Market

Lake Union Park

South Lake Union Park is an easy walk from downtown where you can enjoy a walk along South Lake Union overlooking the city. There are hottub boat rentals, paddleboard and kayak rentals, and sailing lessons if you are feeling adventurous.

Gas Works Park is a little bit further away from downtown and can be reached via Uber, Lyft, or rental car. It is an old industrial park along the North end of South Lake Union that overlooks the Space Needle and downtown Seattle.

Check out the Space Needle and Seattle Center that has a park, child and adult museums, and restaurants. Take a ride up to the top of the Space Needle for views of the city, Mt. Rainier, and the Olympic Mountain Range.

Golden Gardens Park

Golden Gardens Park is a 20 minute drive north of the city and is known for some of the best sunset views on the West Coast overlooking the Olympic Mountain Range and the Puget Sound. This park consists of a sandy beach with tide pools at low tide and the option for beach bonfires in the evening.

Tolmie Peak Fire Lookout

This is Andrew's favorite hike in the Pacific Northwest. It is located on the north side of Mt. Rainier National Park and overlooks a beautiful lake with Mt. Rainier. A moderate 7.5 mile roundtrip hike that is totally worth the effort. Reach out to Andrew for more information!

Lake Twenty-Two Trailhead

Lake Twenty Two is an easy 5.4 mile roundtrip hike that is approximately 1 hour outside of Seattle. Best to do this hike on a weekday or early in the day to avoid the crowds. Bring your swim suits and take a plunge into the alpine lake to cool down on a hot day. Reach out to Andrew for more information!

North Cascades National Park

We highly recommend the Fix in a Box escape rooms and in particular the Zodiac Killer room which is the first one that JR took Andrew to (and scared the s*** out of him).

Check out Lake Sammamish State park. This is one of the bodies of water not connected to the Puget Sound and is like bathwater in the summer. There are paddleboard and kayak rentals at the beach and plenty of eagles to view from the beach.
