Our Wedding

Jude and Rebecca met while working at Chick‑fil‑A Newport Pavilion—what started as a few shared shifts quickly turned into something more. A conversation about bowling led to breaks spent together, arriving early for shifts, and long talks that made Rebecca feel like they were friends from the start. Even though Jude insisted he didn’t want work friends at first, but he eventually admitted, “I’d be lying if I said we weren’t friends,” and that friendship grew into love. Their faith brought them even closer: they connected deeply over their Catholic faith and devotion to the Traditional Latin Mass, and soon began attending Mass together on Sundays and to Adoration and Benediction whenever they could. Jude and Rebecca fell more in love over simple dates—coffee at our favorite spot Carabello’s, trips to Kroger, Target, and Kohl’s, a birthday visit to Kings Island, and dinners like their early date nights at VV’s The Italian Experience. On August 15th, after attending Mass for the Feast of the Assumption, Jude surprised Rebecca with a proposal.

The wedding will start at 12pm at Saint Philomena Cecilia Church in Brookville, Indiana. 16194 St Mary's Rd Brookville, IN 47012 United States

The wedding ceremony and Mass will be in the traditional rite of the church. it should take more than 2 hours from start to finish.

With so much excitement and due to the bride’s request we will be having the reception on the church grounds of Saint Philomena Cecilia church!

There is a school building within feet of the church that is used for fellowship after mass and there will be a tent out front as well. The fellowship and brunch/dinner will begin almost immediately after mass. The wedding reception will be relatively simple and small but nonetheless it will be a wonderful day full of love! ❤️ The couple will be taking photos on the church grounds as well so please try your best not to distract them or get in their way. .

plan on coming to the reception if you don’t plan on coming to the Mass. This Mass is very important to the bride and groom and they would love to share this special moment with you!

The bride and groom request that you please dress appropriately and modestly in the presense of the holy altar 

What to wear: Women, we ask that you please wear a dress or skirt to the wedding and for it to fall past your knees while sitting down. Nothing sleeveless, tight fitted, see through/sheer, backless or low cut. Please no cleavage of any kind. We also highly recommend veiling while in the church. This traditional practice is really important to the bride, and she would love for you to participate in this practice. If you desire to veil in mass, there will be some provided for your use in the back of the church. Men, we ask that you wear a suit or a buttoned-down shirt &amp; tie and dress pants. No shorts or inappropriate design on shirts. No sweatshirts, hoodies or undershirts. Nothing sleeveless or backless.
