The Redwood Resort RV park is around the block and&nbsp;a short walk&nbsp;to the venue! This place is&nbsp;perfect for those that want to come in an RV or tent camp! It's great for those&nbsp;who want&nbsp;to book a&nbsp;site and stay together and camp outside and enjoy the beautiful Santa Cruz summer in the mountains. It has RV hook ups, pool, shower, and camping accommodations.&nbsp;

You have to email them with the address on their website and they will happily get back to you! There is a campsite layout&nbsp; on their website so you can see which site you might be interested in :) As of April 1,&nbsp;2019, there were 3 camping spots and 2 RV&nbsp;spots that are available to book.&nbsp;

Each cabin is unique and not all cabins offer the same amenities. However we know that travelers need as much information as possible to assist with packing. Each cabin comes with towels and bedlinens. Cabins with futons for extra overnight guests will be stocked with extra blankets, sheets and pillows. Each cabin has a drip coffee maker, microwave, refrigerator of varying size, toaster, outdoor barbeque. Cabins with a full size kitchen have full size appliances including a stove and oven. All kitchens are supplied with kitchen towels, dish soap, sponge, drying rack, ice cube trays, cutting board, large mixing/serving bowl, cups, bowls, plates, knives, measuring cups, wine bottle opener, can opener and silverware. We do not provide pots and pans but a simple set is available at the office for a $20 cleaning deposit. We do not have ovenware and recommend brining your own.&nbsp;Every bathroom has a sink, shower and toilet and Fern River provides towels and limited toiletries. There is only one cabin that has a full bathtub. ( cabin 14) You are welcome to exchange your towels when needed for fresh ones at the office during regular hours.We do not have phones in our rooms as most of our guests come to escape and enjoy some relaxation. Most cell phone providers do work onsite. Verizon works best.&nbsp;There are varying sized tvs in every cabin with basic cable, we get several sports channels, news channels and the popular prime time tv channels. Wifi is throughout the property and available for 2 hours free per device. Guests requiring longer internet access can set up an account online during login and unlimited internet is $5 per day and $12 per week.

Fall Creek is the northern area of Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park. One of the park’s best kept secrets, it is 2,390 acres with about 20 miles of hiking trails.A few miles north is the&nbsp;Fall Creek&nbsp;Unit– a second-growth redwood forest with a fern-lined river canyon and remnants of a successful lime-processing industry. &nbsp;Fall Creek is open for day use only, and includes almost twenty miles of connecting trails. With a 135 acre living museum full of rare and unique plant species, dedicated staff, committed volunteers, and a voluminous history of contributing to conservation research, the Arboretum inspires botanical stewardship in students, the community, and the world at large.

Henry Cowell Redwoods State Park is located in the Santa Cruz Mountains and is most famous for the 40-acre grove of towering&nbsp;old-growth redwood trees.&nbsp;Its historical significance and spectacular scenery draw travelers from around the world. Visitors can enjoy hiking, horseback riding, picnicking, swimming, and camping on more than 4,650 acres of forested and open land.&nbsp;These skyscraping redwoods were admired by explorer John C. Frémont, President Theodore Roosevelt, and inspired some of California’s earliest redwood preservation efforts. Take a walk beyond the redwood grove and you’ll find four diverse habitats that this park preserves: grasslands, river/riparian, sandhills, and redwoods. The tallest tree in the park is approximately 277 feet tall, about 16 feet wide, and around 1,500 years old. Keen-eyed visitors may spot banana slugs, black-tailed deer, coyotes, bobcats, or steelhead trout.

Mission: The Seymour Marine Discovery Center is dedicated to educating people about the role scientific research plays in the understanding and conservation of the world’s oceans.

Through our breathtaking seaside learning center, we bring the adventures and explorations of ocean science to life. Powered by the Long Marine Laboratory, a world-renowned university research facility, the Seymour Marine Discovery Center offers hands-on immersion into the world of ocean exploration and discovery. With a 20,000-square-foot visitor center, guests can touch a shark, explore the latest discoveries in ocean science, and take in the spectacular Monterey Bay, called the “Serengeti of the sea,” for its incredible diversity of marine life.
