It was a typical weekday afternoon; Judith was in her house chatting with her sisters after finishing her months long discernment vocation and sharing with them the great news that she was being called into her *dream* vocation, marriage! Of course, Judiths sisters did not take much time (Id say, a good five seconds), until they looked at each other and turned to Judith with what seemed to be a brilliant idea! Judith was a little concerned about that stare since she knew very well that whenever her sisters had that look on their faces, that meant they were planning something BIG! Oh boy! I wonder what theyre going to get me into this time?! thought Judith, but without further hesitation, she turned to them to see what they were doing. Just minutes after the news, Carolina and Noemi turn to Judith (the bride-to-be) and tell her theyve created an online Catholic dating profile for Judith on CatholicMatch.com and they would help her find her St.Joseph! Judith was reluctant since she felt insecure about going on dating sites and expressed to them her opposition to such an idea, although she was secretly interested in what possibilities that site could await. Regardless of what Judith expressed, her sisters went on reading profile bios to her of possible candidates they knew she might be interested in since they knew her well enough to know she truly did want this deep down. To this, Judith was acting as if she had no interest and even turned her head away as they were reading to show her resistance to what they were doing, but as soon as they read a particular one that just spoke to Judiths heart as much as she wanted to resist it because of the great virtue, qualities, and passion for Our Lord that the gentleman wrote about Judith could not resist it any longer and turned quickly towards her sisters saying Ok... Im listening.... Her sisters laughed in joy and said And you havent even looked at the pictures yet! to which Judith jumped from her seat and approached them! As soon as she saw one, picture, then two, then three, she knew that that man could be her lost husband she had been praying for! But... the story doesnt end there since she was carried by hesitation in not feeling ready just yet to date and decided to not carry on with the dating site until she prayed some more and felt an affirmation of Our Lords calling to carry on with creating a dating profile. Some months passed when she felt ready to go on to the site in peace. As soon as she began to create it, after much prayer and trust in Our good Lord, her heart started to race as she remembered that profile of the handsome and virtuous gentleman Dominick... she thought. But theres no way hell still be on the site, or much less, what are the possibilities of him finding me and reaching out since he doesnt even know I exist?!. Nonetheless, she carried on with her dating profile since she trusted that if God wanted her to find her future husband through that site, she would with His help and guidance. Days passed and although good intended men were reaching out to Judith, she didnt ever really feel a strong connection or strong conviction towards allowing them to pursue her Something just doesnt seem right, she thought. And about three days later, she got a message from a gentleman called Dominick. She could not believe her eyes! Her Catholic online crush had reached out! Yet again, she paused for a moment, took a deep breath, and did a prayer so that Our Lord would orchestrate everything and not her desires. After she read Dominicks noble and thoughtful message, her heart felt completely different from any of the other guys who had reached out. She then responded and the rest is history.... Just kidding, to not cut the story short, I will share that after just a couple of phone calls, they went out on their first date to which they first met outside of St.Annes (the church they will be getting married now!), prayed the Angelus together in front of the statue of Our Lady, they light a candle together to consecrate their date to our Lords will, and carried on to a restaurant with a beautiful view Dominick had picked for Judith. Just like that thoughtful and prayerful date, many more came afterward and every time Judith and Dominck seemed to connect more and more; But just as any story worth fighting for, not everything was rainbows. There came a point in which Judith and Dominick decided to pause their dates to better discern where Our Lord was truly calling them. After some months, Dominick reached out to Judith asking for another date which to her surprise, was going to be the day he would ask her to enter into courtship! Ever since then, they both strived (to the best of their abilities) to always keep God in front of their relationship and to be hopeful, but completely open to whatever His will would be for them, regardless of what it could be. As you mightve guessed by now, yes... it is marriage thanks be to Our good God!!! And we cant wait to have you celebrate the beginning of our journey of love towards our final destination together, Heaven (by the grace of God). *We would now like to take the opportunity to kindly ask for your prayers so that our biggest dream (Heaven) might come true and we can continue this beautiful and ever-lasting celebration of Our Lords love for all eternity.* God bless you and thank you in advance for all of the rosaries/ novenas youll pray for us!!!
