Our Wedding

We first met on the evening of April 21st, 2018, which explains why we chose to get married on this special date. The Mt-Rubidoux Seventh-Day Adventist church we both attended at the time organized a game night/sporting event at the Drayson Center on the Loma Linda University campus. As luck would have it, we both almost ended up not attending, but decided to go since we did not have plans for that night. From there, we got introduced to each other by Julov', the bride's brother who had already met Alain. The next day, Alain slid into Judline's DM, they became fast friends, and eventually started dating a few months later. On the day preceding his birthday, Alain got down on one knee in front of family members and close friends, and asked Judline to be his wife, and she said yes!

Judline and Alain - A Simple Story of Love and Friendship

Alain took Judline on a romantic candlelight dinner on a rooftop lounge in West Hollywood.  It was a beautiful night, they enjoyed fine dining, champagne, and most of all each other's company.

Our First Valentine

Alain had planned on proposing to Judline on August 24 which is her birthday. However, after asking for her hand in marriage to her parents, Judline's parents shared the news with her and spoiled the surprise. Judline's sister juline, secretly told Alain to change the plan because Judline was aware of everything, Alain then decided to plan a surprise proposal and engagement party on his birthday weekend. Alain told Judline that he wanted to do a photo shoot. During the photoshoot, Judline and Alain's family showed up and witnessed him dropped on one knee to ask Judline to marry him, and her answer was yes.

Our engagement (In a nutshell)

This was a complete surprise to the bride. On the drive home from the engagement, Judline told Alain that she was hungry and wanted some food, but she was almost certain that her mom cooked at home for the occasion. She fell asleep on the drive home and when she woke up she was in an unfamiliar neighborhood. Judline got curious and asked Alain where they were, and he vaguely said he brought her somewhere to eat. As they were walking into the backyard of the house, family and friends from various places jumped out of nowhere and yelled surprise and congratulated the newly engaged couple. They hugged, cried, laughed, ate, danced, celebrated, and partied the night away.

11/25/2018, the day we made it official as a couple after spending the day apple picking at Oak Glen&nbsp;in Yucaipa.  After several months of getting to know each other and praying, we felt it was the right time to take our friendship to the next level.
