Our Wedding

Our story didn't exactly begin like a charming Rom-Com story with a series of fortunate well-timed events.&nbsp;Our first meeting comprise of a corner laboratory room on the 4th floor of Engineering school, a weary glance meeting a wary glance, some hesitation, some recognition, and the most predictable opener of “Hi” followed by “Do you like Zelda too?”Our bond started out as a mutual interest in Legend of Zelda© (#notsponsored) (and other cool things alike, of course) which evolved into a quirky friendship during college. Our friendship turned into something more when a few more years after college, after few more turns at the hustle and bustle of life, we found ourselves each at the weary end of the same phone call, a rare moment of familiarity and quiet, and the most comforting opener of "Hi" followed by “Do you want to hang out?" (okay, yes, followed by "Did you play the newest Zelda game?") Mutual interests turn to friendship turns to companionship turns to a lasting bond that we believe is Love. As much as we both enjoy tales of adventure, love, and drama, ours is not exactly the timeless story of a Knight and a Princess.But then again we do end up rescuing each other from every day's toils, supporting each other, and forging better versions of ourselves. Perhaps this is our rendition of the Knight and his Princess. Every inside joke, every hug and cuddle, every reassuring word whispers of a home to return to and a promise to keep each other safe. We will have many adventures ahead, many things we need to accomplish, and many obstacles we need to overcome. It's dangerous to go alone, but all we need is each other. As we begin our next chapter, both at the end of the aisle, nervous glance meeting anxious glance, some hesitation, some excitement, saying the most treasured vow of "Do you?" followed by "I Do", we hope that you will be there with us.
