Our story begins with unresponsive work emails.

Determined and hardworking as he was, Ricky decided to take advantage of being in office for meetings to follow up on unanswered emails in person because "why not?" Unbeknownst to him, he had the wrong email address from the start. Finally able to meet in person, Ricky would later finesse Juli to give him her personal phone number.

From our first date at the "best" hibachi place in town, to wild safari-like drives through the forest in Puerto Rico, to meeting our families and joining a new family, facing issues of a pandemic, career changes and meagerness of faith. Three years later after daily Mass, Ricky would ask Juli to be his forever bae. The moral of the story is that love cannot be forced, demanded, or controlled, but rather love is to be tree and total and makes for a better story to be unintentional.
