Luke was living in South Carolina but was in Philadelphia this weekend at the Eagles tailgate with his longtime friends who just so happen to my dads cousins. My dad met Luke and liked him right away. He called me to meet Luke at the tailgate and we definitely both felt sparks. Our meeting was brief, no more than 10 minutes long. Due to COVID, we had kept in touch by FaceTiming, phone calls, and texts daily. At the end of April, Luke decided to take the 11 hour drive to Philadelphia to see me again and officially have our first date. We fell in love fast & effortlessly. On the same day that we met 3 years later, Luke proposed January 5th, 2023. ❤️
