Our Wedding

Our story begins in 2019. We were both Juniors in college, attending two different schools in two different states! After weekends of us traveling between NJ and CT, Julia transferred home to pursue Nursing and our relationship really took off.. Well, not really. Just 3 months later, COVID hit. Other than face time, we did not see each other for 2 months!! We were able to have some socially distanced walks, porch hangouts, and picnics. Slowly, life started to get back to normal. In the time since then, Michael graduated from NJIT with his BA in Finance, and his MA in Financial Technology. After months of internships, he landed his dream job at Nestle! Julia began her nursing program, graduated with her LPN, and landed her dream job as a school nurse! What could be better than this? For 5 years, we had what Julia likes to call a, medium distance relationship. On weekends and free days after work, we would drive to each other's houses to make the most of our time (thanks moms and dads for putting up with us!). Rockaway to Cranford is about.. 35 minutes - so like we said, medium distance! All of the traveling came to an end in August of 2024, when we finally moved in to our condo in Springfield.. the perfect middle ground between our two hometowns. We were settled in a place to call our own, and gas got a lot cheaper! Just 6 months later, on Valentine's day, Michael popped the question!Not much to say here, obviously Julia said yes.. Right?Actually, she was so shocked that she said 'Are you serious?!' Michael had to remind her what he was asking.. And then we had an obvious 'Of course!' We have been on so many adventures together.. Sports games, lunch and dinner dates, couch movie nights, concerts, camping, beach trips, vacations, family parties, new jobs, moving, and much more! The memories are endless, and we think the pictures speak for themselves. We cannot wait to celebrate with you and make so many more memories. We are so grateful for this life, the love we share with each other, and the love we share with all of you!

Dress code is formal attire. We would love to see our family and friends dressed up with us! We kindly ask that you reserve the colors white and all shades of blue for the bride and bridal party.

Dress Code

The Refinery is located on the right hand side when entering the Perona Farms property from Andover Sparta Road. Valet parking will be available when you arrive if you are driving.

PLEASE CALL THE HOTEL DIRECTLY TO BOOK! When speaking to the hotel, make sure to mention our wedding and the code E93. There are both king and double rooms available. UPDATE: IN ORDER TO GUARANTEE ROOM AVAILABILITY, PLEASE MAKE YOUR ROOM RESERVATION PRIOR TO JULY 7TH, 2026!

Holiday Inn Express & Suites Mount Arlington-Rockaway Area, an IHG Hotel

There will be a shuttle provided by Lakeland from HIE to Perona Farms on wedding day: The shuttle will depart the hotel NO LATER than 4:40pm and will only make one trip to Perona Farms. The shuttle will also be available as transportation back to hotel at the end of our reception at 11:00pm
