Our Wedding

Dillon and Julia met at Caroline's Upstairs on February 12, 2018. They met through siblings Amanda and Ryan Fees and Taylor Feldt. Amanda and Julia became friends while they attended UT together and Amanda's older brother, Ryan, went to South Western with Dillon. The sibling duo decided on having a group dinner and invited the bride and groom. Dillon and Julia ended up sitting next to each other and the rest is history! Of all the places they have visited, Switzerland holds a special place. They took their first international trip together to Zurich, Switzerland in 2019 to visit Julia's mother, Carina. On this trip they visited Interlaken, and were amazed by the beauty of it. This is when Dillon knew he wanted to come back and propose to Julia. The Proposal In the fall of 2022, Dillon suggested that they visit Carina for Thanksgiving. The location and photographer were locked down. Unfortunately when they arrived in Zurich, Julia completely shut his plan down of visiting Interlaken since it was going to be pouring rain. Luckily Dillon quickly pivoted to visit Zermatt and see the Matterhorn. The two took the Gornergrat Railway in Zermatt to get the perfect view of The Matterhorn. With no exact plan or photographer Dillon quickly flagged down a fellow tourist, Elvin, when they got to the top. Thankfully Elvin was open to taking some photos of them and Dillon then was able to secretly signal to him to take a video for the proposal. She said yes!

Gustavo hails from Asunción, Paraguay and lived his teen years in Houston, TX. He is also a fellow Longhorn! Gustavo loves a good margarita, traveling, cycling and soccer. When he learned the news that Julia got engaged he replied "F***ing finally Dillon". He is pumped to meet everyone, please call him Gustavo! Fun Fact: The Perry-Castañeda Library is named after his Grandfather (Castañeda), the Artaza's definitely bleed burnt orange!

Carina hails from Buenos Aires, Argentina and now lives in Zurich, Switzerland with Ricardo, Julia's Step Father. She was with the Bride and Groom when the proposal happened in Switzerland! Carina has a love for travel, art, and running. She is fluent in Spanish, English, and French (if you want to practice this is your chance). She is excited to meet everyone, please call her Carina! Fun Fact: She has completed an Iron Man!

Julia's little sister. She is currently killing it in D.C. and has a masters in Security Studies from Georgetown University. Isabella enjoys high fashion, travel, and politics. Are you behind on the current news? Isabella can help you with that. 
Fun Fact:  The Secretary of State, Antony Blinken, gave the commencement speech at her Masters graduation and Isabella fist bumped him.

Lily and Julia met in History class during their Sophomore year when Julia was a new transfer.  Lily works for the City of Dripping Springs and loves all creatures especially her XL dog, Alfie the great dane (he's 195 lbs), and her horse. She has also lived in Tanzania and has traveled to Mexico & Switzerland with bride! Fun Fact: Not only does Lily only wear black like the bride, but she has also been mowed down by a deer in Julia's front lawn.

Macy and Julia have known each other since they were 6 years old and share a love for music festivals. Macy now lives in Rhode Island! She loves her Doodle, Frito, and all things travel and business related. Fun Fact: Macy has lived in both Australia and Costa Rica.

Kate and Julia met at Westlake High and share a love for fine jewelry. Fun Fact: Kate knows a lot about elevators. If your office is in need of an elevator upgrade she will be pleased to talk to you about TK Elevator and hear your inquiry.

Chandler and Julia met at UT! Chandler and the bride became quick friends and have attended ACL many times together! Fun Fact: She is currently going #viral on TikTok. Look for her on your FYP.

Amanda introduced Julia to Dillon! She is a powerhouse in the workforce and has a love for health and traveling. She recently just moved into her first home and adopted her first dog!

Taylor and Julia met at UT and have been inseparable ever since. She is practicing law in the Dallas area. Fun fact: It took Taylor 3 times to pass her drivers exam but only one to pass the bar. 

Taylor Feldt

Sydney and Julia met when they both pledged KKG at UT and they later on lived together for two years! Sydney loves to travel, the knock out martini at Matt's El Rancho, and TexMex food.  Fun Fact: Sydney has sobbed watching the movie Taken.

Kenna and Julia met at Westlake High in art class. Kenna was a new transfer and convinced the Bride to join the track team to spend more time together! Julia and Dillon recently celebrated Kenna's marriage in MX! Fun Fact: Kenna's wedding was the first time Julia was a bridesmaid.

Pilar is Julia's cousin on her Mother's side. She has a love for horses and goes riding every week!

A native Texan, Chris is the father of Dillon and has a passion for golf, hunting, and traveling. Chris is a lifetime Longhorn and a man of many talents and has recently picked up the hobby of bee keeping! Many of Dillon’s athletic and survival skills are a direct result of Chris’ lessons as a father. He’s excited to meet everyone on the special night  -  please call him Chris!

Chris O'Dell

Melissa, the mother of Dillon, is also a native Texan and loves to craft, has become a beekeeper in her spare time, and will always enjoy a good margarita (it's always 5 o'clock somewhere!). Many of Dillon's etiquette and manners are a direct result of Melissa's lessons as a mother. She is excited to meet everyone at the wedding, please call her Melissa!

Melissa O'Dell

Dillon's older brother! Ethan is a firefighter in Kyle, Texas and has had the honor of knowing Dillon for almost his entire life. Ethan claims to be undefeated against his brother in wrestling but everyone knows this to be FALSE.

Carson aka Lil Boy aka OVO aka Mr Chain is a fraternity brother of Dillon and has been one of Dillon's best friends for many years. Carson is an attorney for the Marines and is stationed in Japan. Fun fact about Carson - Drake flew him back to Japan in First Class!

Reigning from Troy Texas, Zach has been one of Dillon's best friends since they met on the baseball team at Southwestern University. This man loves a good party and can be found at the open bar at any time of the night.

Mason (Jeonsy) was Dillon's little brother in their fraternity and has shared many life memories. Mason  recently got married in NOLA earlier this year and is known to slam a few (10) hot dogs in any given setting. Mason is known to claim the Astros didn't cheat to win the World Series and will argue with 85 year olds about it.

STAFI! This man was Dillon's roommate freshman year of college and the two of them have stayed close ever since. Dillon was in Mustafa's wedding earlier this year when he married his wonderful wife. Mustafa is currently a Doctor in Dallas Texas and can give medical advice to anyone at the wedding.

Cameron is one of the good Cali transplants to Texas and went to college with Dillon. Cameron and his wife, Amy, live around the corner from Dillon and Julia and is known to enjoy the neighborhood bar, Boomerz on any given Tuesday night.

Rhode Island watch out, this man is officially a doctor during the day (who knows what this man does at night). Brian was fortunate enough to meet Dillon through his girlfriend (who went to High School with Julia). Dillon and Julia have been known to destroy Brian and Macy in pizza cooking competitions. Fun fact - Dillon recently taught Brian how to boogey board recently in Rhode Island.

Ryan and Dillon met during their Freshman year at Southwestern University and wound up being fraternity brothers. Ryan, along with his sister Amanda, was responsible for the Friday afternoon happy hour that led to Julia and Dillon meeting!

The bus will pick up guests at the Fairmont Austin and drop off at Camp Lucy. After the wedding is over the busses will drop off guests back at the Fairmont Austin. No drinking and driving, y'all!

Bus Schedule ﻿Before Ceremony:The bus will leave at 3:30 PM from the Fairmont to take guests to Sacred Oaks, Camp Lucy. After Reception:The wedding will be finished at 10:30 PM and busses will then immediately begin to take guests back to The Fairmont.
