We met on a train that was heading to Washington, D.C. for a church trip. After probably walking past one another our entire lives, we sat down and decided to get to know each other. 6 months of friendship brought us closer until he was finally ready to make the first move. I had known what I wanted months prior. July 6, 2017 was the day we turned our friendship into something more. Our love is the stuff of fairytales and movies. Who would have known that two kids who fell in love would have fostered their love into something worthwhile. One year down. Two years down. Three years down, Four years down. Five years down. This summer will be our six year anniversary. January 10, 2023 we took another big step. After watching one another grow up and watching ourselves grow together, it was obvious that marriage was the next step. He got down on one knee and asked for my hand in marriage (of course I said yes)! We cannot wait to see what this chapter of life holds for us, and we are ecstatic to be planning our wedding! Looking forward to December 6, 2024.
