Ruben and Julia's love story didn't begin with love at first sight. In fact, it took a hundred glances and six months of friendship before they realized they were meant to be. But from January 25th, 2021, they've been absolutely inseparable. Over the past three years, they've shared countless adventures, from traveling the world to sampling every restaurant in DFW, and even conquering the Dallas marathon together in 2023. Through it all, they've discovered not just a partner, but a best friend in each other.

After years of waiting, Ruben finally popped the question during their trip to Spain on March 31st, 2024. Despite a few hiccups with the weather, he found the perfect moment to propose at their villa in Valdemossa, Mallorca. Julia says it was an unforgettable day, especially with a stray cat joining them for the special moment (for anyone that knows Julia, they know that she might love cats just as much as she loves Ruben.) With a picturesque proposal behind them, they celebrated with a romantic dinner at a local restaurant, looking forward to their future as fiancés and eagerly anticipating their wedding next May.
