The welcome party will be held at Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora from seven to nine in the evening on Friday, October 2, 2026. Drinks and hors d’oeuvres will be served. We are excited to invite all guests as a special thank you for traveling to celebrate with us.

Cocktail attire is requested for the welcome party, though guests are welcome to stop by in whatever they feel most comfortable wearing. We simply look forward to spending the evening with everyone before the wedding weekend begins.

Garden formal attire is requested for the wedding day. We encourage guests to wear elegant, formal attire suited for an outdoor garden celebration. Floor-length or midi dresses in flowy fabrics are encouraged for women, including floral prints, pastel tones, and soft seasonal colors. Suits are requested for men, with seasonal tones or classic black equally welcomed. Kindly reserve white for the bride.

The wedding colors feature a soft palette of pale yellow and sage green, with the bridesmaids dressed in a blend of these tones.

Both the ceremony and reception will be held at The Palm Mansion. Guests can enjoy a cocktail hour in between, all at the same beautiful location.

While we truly love and cherish your little ones, we kindly ask that you join us in celebrating this special day with an adults-only ceremony and reception. We hope this allows all of our guests to relax, celebrate, and enjoy the evening to the fullest.

A shuttle will provide transportation from the Lakeside Inn to The Palm Mansion prior to the wedding and will return guests to the hotel following the celebration. For those who prefer to drive, parking will be available at The Palm Mansion.

Complimentary shuttle service will be provided between Lakeside Inn and The Palm Mansion. The shuttle departs from the entrance of Lakeside Inn at three o’clock in the afternoon and returns at nine forty-five in the evening. We kindly recommend arriving at the entrance of Lakeside Inn by two forty-five in the afternoon to ensure all guests are able to board comfortably and the shuttle may depart promptly at three o’clock.

We recommend using Uber and scheduling your rides ahead of time so you arrive and leave right on schedule. There is also plenty of parking at the Palm Mansion if you’ll be driving a rental car or your own car.

Downtown Mount Dora offers several nearby options for continuing the evening, including HandleBar and The Funky Monkey for cocktails. Both are a short distance from Lakeside Inn, where the shuttle will drop off guests at the end of the night.

We recommend staying at the Lakeside Inn in Mount Dora, located just steps away from charming restaurants and boutiques. A complimentary shuttle service will be available on Saturday between Lakeside Inn and the venue, allowing you to relax and fully enjoy the celebration without needing a rental car.

We recommend staying from Friday, October 2, through Sunday, October 4. We’ll be hosting a Welcome Party for all traveling guests on Friday, October 2nd and hope you can join us! The wedding celebration will take place on Saturday, so you can enjoy a leisurely Sunday before heading home.

A guest’s first night’s stay holds the room and is fully refundable up to 48 hours before check-in. To book within our room block, guests must reserve a two-night stay over the weekend (Friday and Saturday) during peak season. The group discount is available until 30 days before the event. After that, rooms may still be available, but the special rate will no longer apply. Discounted rooms range from $172–$254.
