Phillip and I met during our undergraduate at Radford University in 2012 while he was a bouncer at our local bar, BT's. One night while out with friends, I immediately noticed him because of his good looks and knew I had to get to know him. Harnessing all my courage, I walked up and introduced myself…fast forward to a year later to when we officially started dating and made the big move to Charleston, SC. We were lucky our new home was a vacation destination and we took advantage of soaking up the sun at the beach, eating Southern comfort food, and making new lifelong friends. Four years later, we decided to be closer to family and moved to my hometown of Centreville, VA.

We went to Cancun, Mexico for our five-year anniversary so I anticipated something special was going to happen. However, my sister tricked me by telling me that Phillip was not going to propose during this trip because he had a different plan. On the second night, we were getting ready for dinner and I was waiting for Phillip on the balcony of our luxury suite overlooking the ocean. He began to play our song "Crash My Party” by Luke Bryan, on his portable speaker when he approached me on the balcony and got down on one knee! I was completely surprised with my heart exploding! But the surprise didn't stop there. After the rest of our unforgettable vacation in Mexico, we flew back to Virginia and to my surprise, my sister was waiting at the airport to pick us up...Phillip planned for her to fly in from South Carolina to celebrate with us! Our trip and celebration with friends and family will be a memory I will cherish forever.

Our wedding will be held in the backyard of the Corey house, located at 5340 Chandley Farm Circle, Centreville, VA 20120. Ceremony will begin at 2:00 PM followed by cocktail hour and reception until 7:30 PM. All are welcome to continue celebrating with us throughout the night. Arrive by 1:40 PM to claim your seats.
