Sometimes we wonder if we were always meant to find each other. Growing up in North Andover, we lived just half a mile apart and even attended the same high school at separate times. We like to imagine ourselves crossing paths as kids, maybe on the town common by our childhood houses. In that moment, we might have felt a hint of something special without knowing why. It's a comforting thought, the idea that even then, the universe was nudging us towards each other.

In the fall of 2015, we officially met for the first time. However, like many great love stories, the timing wasn't quite right for our journey to begin. Over the next few years, we remained friends, staying in touch and keeping the possibility of a future together alive. Deep down, we both sensed there was something special between us.

On July 24th, 2020, we went on our first official date at Beehive in the South End. We were nervous at first, but then we started talking on our way to the restaurant and everything felt instantly natural. That night, we sat outside under the warm glow of string lights, listening to jazz on a perfect Boston summer evening. As we discussed our favorite Game of Thrones characters, we both felt a connection beginning to grow. We knew at the end of that evening that something special had begun, and we were so eager to see each other again that we met up the very next night as well.

When you meet your person, your soulmate, the connection becomes unbreakable. That’s how we feel about our relationship. We were meant to find each other and our bond is sacred. We complete each other in ways we never knew possible and continue to strengthen our love and make one another better. We accept each other completely, as we are. In our love we have found our truest home.

Our first year together was magical, despite the chaos of the world around us. We both worked from home and would spend hours together, sometimes days, working side by side and enjoying each other's company at our apartments in Chestnut Hill and the South End. As we navigated the challenges of the pandemic, we found so much comfort and joy in our growing relationship. That year will forever be Chapter 1 of our true love story.

In September of 2021, we moved in together to the South End. Living together taught us so much - about ourselves, about each other, about what it means to be a team. We learned to face challenges together and always come out stronger on the other side. We push each other to be better, support one another, and fill our home with laughter and love. In each other, we've found not just a partner, but a best friend, a confidant, and a lifelong teammate.

Last summer, we moved to Brookline, ready for our next adventure: getting a puppy. Raising Henry together has been one of the greatest joys of our lives. Watching each other with him, seeing our patience and love, it makes us fall in love with one another all over again every day. Our little family of three is a daily reminder that dreams really do come true.

As we prepare to say "I do," we're filled with gratitude for every step of our journey together. Each moment has led us here, to this beautiful life we're building together, to this special day we’re so excited to share with all of you. Our love story is perfectly us and we’re so excited for this next chapter of our lives together.
