Julia, originally from Old Bridge New Jersey, by way of Jacksonville Florida, moved to Atlanta Georgia, just one month after graduating from UNF. In 2015, Christian also returned to his hometown in the Atlanta area. The universe seemed to conspire, aligning their paths for the next chapter of their lives.

In 2016, Christian and Julia started attending happy hours and events for the SLB and SLG alumnae associations. It was during this time that Christian decided to make a bold move – he "slid into Julia's DMs" on GroupMe. From these digital messages emerged a connection that transcended the online world, leading them to spend more time together.

Their bond deepened, and by December 2016, Christian and Julia officially became a couple. Over the next three years, they built a relationship filled with love, adventure, and shared moments. Dating, traveling, and simply enjoying each other's company became the foundation of their connection.

In 2019, recognizing the importance of focusing on individual goals, Christian and Julia decided to part ways. Little did they know that the saying "absence makes the heart grow fonder" would prove true. The time apart only strengthened their love, and they soon realized they couldn't imagine life without each other.

In November 2022, Christian orchestrated a moment that would forever change their lives. He drove Julia to Piedmont Park, got down on one knee, and asked her the most important question of their journey: "Will you be my wife?"
