She had just finished grad school. He was a marketing bum. They lived two blocks apart. After a few years of dating, hikes, bike rides, Trivia nights, family events, one condemned house, and more, they got an apartment in South Philly together.

Julia and Pete quit their jobs and moved abroad! Bogota, Colombia was their home for a year, where they enjoyed mountain hikes, gold museums, thermal baths, salt mines, coffee, many visits from friends and family, and good food.

They also lived in Montevideo, Uruguay, with beach sunsets, Carnival parades, ranch vacations, paragliding, and more good food.

After arriving back in the states in early 2020, Julia and Pete got officially married at a small ceremony in Lancaster, PA. Later that year, they moved back to their home city of Philadelphia and have been there since!
