We met in 2019 when we realized our birthdays were a day apart that sparked a conversation. From there on we talked just about everyday as we went on with our lives. In 2020 as the world was shutting down we started to hang out more and more. We would go on late night drives and just sit in the car and listen to music… because the world was shut down and there was nothing else to do. On May 24th Jared asked me to be his girlfriend. From that day on we have spent every day together. In July of that year we got our first dog Dakota Roo. He definitely changed our lives as we traveled the whole east coast with him during the pandemic. That following year I was in cosmetology school and Jared was in trade school to become a mechanic. As the weeks went on we had a schedule and would always find time to see each other. March of 2021 we decided we were going to finish school and pack up and move south! Time went on and it was still just a thought. That July we made up our minds and decided we are going to move, with that being said we couldn’t move with just one dog so we got Winston Ford at the end of July and our family of three turned into a family of four. At the end of August we packed up and moved to start our new life on Kiawah Island SC. Fast forward a year 1/2 on February 12th 2023, Jared asked me to marry him at the Pineapple Fountain in downtown Charleston! That night we were able to celebrate with both of our families. That brings us here today for our 2025 May wedding!
