On June 15th, for Julia's birthday, Josh whisked her away for a weekend trip to Austin. By the end of the trip, it was official—they were boyfriend and girlfriend, marking June 16th as the day they took that next big step together.

One of their most memorable dates took place at Enchanted Rock, where they hiked, climbed, and grew even closer. Months later, Julia would tell Josh that it was on that date when she first realized she was falling in love with him.

After a night of fun and connection at a local bar called 78624, where they played a game of 40 questions, Joshua had something up his sleeve. The next morning, they set out to hike Enchanted Rock once again. As they reached the top of a secluded peak and enjoyed a quiet picnic, Joshua suggested they take a picture to capture the moment. Instead, he switched the camera to video, got down on one knee, and asked Julia to marry him.
