Erik and Julia met while training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu. At the time, Julia was a white belt, and Erik was a purple belt. Our gym hosted a Halloween party with a cornhole tournament and Erik asked Julia to be his partner. While they didn't make it far in the tournament, Erik did ask Julia out on a first date. They went out for sushi and haven't quit dating since!

Julia and Erik still enjoy training Brazilian Jiu Jitsu together, Erik is now a black belt and Julia a blue belt, but they have some new hobbies together too! They have grown their family by two amazing pups and their son, Charlie.
