Reid and Julia met in the summer of 2020 through mutual friends while they were both attending Lander University. They dated for about a year in Greenwood, and then went long distance-ish(3 hours) while Reid lived in Georgetown to attend Horry Georgetown Technical College, and Julia lived in Columbia teaching School Social Studies at Beechwood Middle. Reid proposed to Julia on December 2, 2023 in Georgetown on private land with old Mossy Oaks. They are both looking forward to being together and being married.
