Deion and Julia met in the Fall of 2020 at a bar in Roanoke, VA. It was Julia's fall semester of her senior year at Virginia Tech, and she and her girlfriends had planned to do dinner that night and then head to a bar afterwards. After dinner, one of the girls realized she forgot her ID, and the bouncer almost didn't let them inside. However, it took a good amount of convincing (and a picture of the friend's passport that her mom provided over text), but the bouncer eventually let them in. Inside, Deion was there with a group of his guy friends. It's crazy to think the two were so close to never even meeting!

The two friend groups eventually started talking, and Julia and Deion hit it off instantly, talking for nearly 3 hours. And they haven't stopped talking since! It took Deion and Julia just a few dates before they became official girlfriend and boyfriend, and not long after that to become best friends. The two have dated for over 3 years, sharing in countless adventures and memories with their friends and families by their side.

In August 2024, Deion got on one knee and finally asked the question while at a beautiful cabin that overlooked the mountains.
