Our Wedding

Before our first year of medical school began, John David and I volunteered at Camp Tiger, a camp for children with special needs. By chance, we were assigned the same camper, making us co-counselors—and instant friends. We quickly became study partners, supporting each other through the challenges of med school. It wasn’t until our second year that our friendship grew into something more, but we both agree that having a strong foundation as best friends has been the key to our relationship. Together, we tackled STEP 1 and 2, and I can honestly say John is the reason I made it through third year in one piece! Along the way, we also became proud cat parents to three wonderful kitties—Millie (3), Murphy (2), and Frankie (1)—who never fail to make us laugh and keep us on our toes. Now, we can't wait to get married, take on residency, and continue building a beautiful life together.
