Christian had moved to Worcester, MA in June 2019 for work and I followed a few months later in August for graduate school. We met at Worcester Beer Garden, sat at the corner window table, and talked until closing at which point we walked to the park next door and kept talking until past 1AM.

The next morning I woke up to messages from Christian saying his car had been broken into during our date and that his car radio had been stolen. I decided that was a good time to finally ask for his phone number... coincidentally he had thought it was a good excuse to keep the conversation going. A few days later we met up again, fixed his car window, and we've been hanging out since.

We're getting married 10 days after celebrating our 5th anniversary.
