Sarris Candies is Julia’s favorite chocolate shop in the world (and that’s even after visiting Switzerland)! Check out the ice cream parlor and the candy shop. The milk chocolate covered pretzels are the best!
The Strip District

Park on Smallman Street and walk along Penn Ave from 16th Street to 22nd Street. Visit the famous Robert Wholey fish market and Pennsylvania Macaroni Co, and stop in the Pittsburgh sports and souvenir shops! Some of Mike & Julia’s favorite spots are Cafe Raymond, Allegheny Coffee & Tea Exchange, Enrico Biscotti, and DiAnoia’s Eatery.

The heart of Pittsburgh is downtown. Park at 625 Stanwix Street. Walk around Market Square, PPG Plaza, and make your way over to the fountain at Point State Park. This is where the three rivers of Pittsburgh meet, and you can see the Steelers’ football stadium from there! Stop for a coffee at Nicholas Coffee & Tea Co, or grab lunch at Primanti Bros- a Pittsburgh staple!
