We met while we were both at school at Western Michigan University. We met through a mutual couple at a party. After college, I moved to Chicago and Andy stayed back in Michigan. We ended up going our separate ways during my time in Chicago, but always kept in touch.

In the summer of 2015, we went to a Sublime concert in Chicago. We were both nervous about seeing each other for the first time in years, but as soon as we saw each other, it was like nothing had ever changed and we have been together ever since.

We now live in Mishawaka, Indiana and can't wait to start our lives together!

Andy proposed the day before our "second" one year anniversary.

We were in the dining room listening to a record and Andy turned and said, " I know you were hoping something would happen tomorrow, but it's not going to. I figured I would just do it now." I looked over and he was down on one knee with the most beautiful ring. Of course, I said yes!

The rest of the night was spent celebrating in the backyard with music and champagne. It was perfect!
