Visit downtown Scituate, where there are many cute and charming restaurants, shops, and also the beautiful Scituate Lighthouse! Our favorite restaurants include Lucky Finn Cafe (awesome coffee/breakfast sandwiches) and TK O'Malley's (great mudslides).

Many of the beaches in Scituate are private and require resident stickers, therefore we recommend taking the quick drive to nearby Marshfield, Duxbury, Hull, Plymouth (all around 20-40 minutes away), or trek a bit further to Cape Cod (1-2 hours away).

Some of the best public beaches include: Nantasket Beach (Hull), Green Harbor Beach (Marshfield), Duxbury Beach (Marshfield/Duxbury), Plymouth Beach (Plymouth), Scusset Beach (Sagamore). If you venture to the Cape, there are a million great choices, but the Beachcomber is amazing!

Our beloved Boston is about an hour from Scituate. Check out historic Beacon Hill, the Charles River, the Freedom Trail, Boston Common/Public Garden, take a ride on the Boston Duck Boat, shop on Newbury Street, and so much more.
