Our Wedding

No. No it wasn't. Listen, I don't have a good title or really even some unique gooey love story, okay? It wasn't love at first swipe or first message or first kiss. We didn't have some sort of romantic first meeting. But I'll tell you what we did have:A tinder message from a boy to a girl proclaiming his waste of a super-like on herA Facebook video call when a girl told this boy that she occasionally licks her brother's forehead to see "if he's okay."A first meeting of garage saling? With literally zero physical contact.An awkward attempt of flirtation by sending each other SoNgS tHaT mAkE mE tHiNk Of YoUA first date type of situation of Saturday morning cartoons and cereal... Which her 10 year old brother attended later that afternoon We weren't exactly set up for some long term deal, what with one of us working part time without a car and the other of us getting a bachelor's degree in engineering, an MBA, working a part time job, and applying for internships. All at the same time (show off). I'm not gonna be cliche and say that the thing that kept it going was love, because truly it wasn't just that. We kept it going with friendship. Movie nights, playing video games, board gaming, long stupid conversations about whether or not the shark from Jaws is a character (HE'S NOT.) While we will be celebrating our love on this amazing upcoming December day with all the others we hold dear, we are more importantly celebrating our friendship and our commitment to it for the rest of our lives. No matter what.
