According to Scott, they met when volunteering at a freshmen move-in orientation program. Scott was not following the rules (typical) and Julia yelled at him.

Julia remembers first meeting Scott when he was playing football in a common area on campus. Her exact words to one of their mutual friends was, "who would be stupid enough to play football with a broken foot?".

Julia and Scott started dating October 15, 2018. Once Julia graduated from Penn State, they spent a few years in a long distance relationship traveling back and forth from Virginia and Pennsylvania.

Julia and Scott got engaged September 3rd, 2022 on Sullivan's Island, SC. They are so excited to celebrate with family & friends on their wedding day, October 15th, 2023 in Charleston, SC!
